Adirondack Harvest Festival 2026: Bees, Honey, and a Free Saturday in the Champlain Valley

Every September, the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Essex County brings together more than 30 local farmers, producers, and makers for the Adirondack Harvest Festival in Westport, on Lake Champlain's western shore. This year marks the 10th Annual, and the theme is "Bees and Honey" — exploring the role of pollinators in Adirondack agriculture. The day includes a farmers' market with 30+ member vendors, free educational demos on honey and beeswax, hands-on workshops (available for an additional fee), farm animal encounters, draft horse wagon rides, live music from three regional acts, and a Local Libations tent for guests 21+. Everything about the event is built around the region's growers, and admission is free.
