What's Happening

Ganondagan State Historic Site in Victor hosts its Indigenous Music & Arts Festival this July — two days of Native American music, dance, and visual art on one of the most culturally significant landscapes in the Finger Lakes region. The site is a place where Haudenosaunee (Seneca Nation) history is living and present, not archived, and the festival reflects that: it brings together performers and artists from Native communities across the region in a setting that gives the work its proper context. If you have never been to Ganondagan, this weekend is the ideal reason to make the short drive from Rochester or the Finger Lakes.
