At a café along the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake, a free exhibit is giving you a window into a Finger Lakes village that most people have never heard of — from 150 years ago. "Genoa in 3D" uses 3D glasses and anaglyphs converted from original stereoview photographs to put you face-to-face with the 350 residents, two churches, general store, pharmacy, and hotel that made up the village of Genoa in the 1870s. Created by Vince Slaugh in collaboration with the Genoa Historical Association, it's the kind of absorbing, unexpected afternoon addition that makes a Cayuga Lake day feel complete.
