What's Happening

Geneva has been educating its children for nearly 200 years, and the stories live in photographs. On September 17, Historic Geneva Curator John Marks brings those images to Lake Drum Brewing for a casual, drop-in evening: a slide show looping through the history of the city's schools — the buildings, the teachers, the generations that came through. It is the kind of gathering where you might recognize your grandmother in a class photo, or find yourself talking with a stranger about a teacher you both remember.
