The Smith Opera House has been part of Geneva's life since 1894 — opera house, movie theater, and now one of the most storied performing arts venues in the Finger Lakes. On November 19, Historic Geneva Curator John Marks brings its history to Lake Drum Brewing in a casual, drop-in evening: a slide show looping through the building's many lives. It is a good excuse to return to Geneva in November, when the crowds are gone and the city belongs to the people who know it.
