What's Happening

The Seward House Museum throws open its Victorian parlors on December 13 for a Holiday Traditions Open House — four hours inside one of New York's most handsomely preserved 19th-century homes, dressed for the season. This is Auburn in December the way it ought to feel: unhurried, historic, and genuinely warm. The house that Lincoln and Tubman both visited looks extraordinary at the holidays, and the open house format means you can come and go at your own pace.
