Inside: Rochester Architecture Weekend — The Landmark Society's Inside Downtown Tour Returns September 12-13

Once a year, the Landmark Society of Western New York opens doors that are normally closed — literally. The 2026 Inside Downtown Tour invites you to step inside Rochester's skyline and walk through three centuries of extraordinary architecture in a single weekend. This is not a tour of plaques and facades. It's access to the interiors: the details, the history, and the stories of buildings that shaped the city and continue to shape it. After your day of discovery, the Landmark Society is partnering with local restaurants and bars throughout Center City to turn the exploration into something worth lingering over.
