Journey of Water: A Free Morning on Cayuga Lake That Is Also Real Science

For the 19th straight year, the Community Science Institute and Discover Cayuga Lake are taking people out on the water to do something real: collect water samples, use professional-grade field equipment, and examine plankton under microscopes — then bring the data back to a state-certified lab where it joins a long-term record of the lake's health. This is a free three-hour morning cruise that gives you both a beautiful ride on Cayuga Lake and a genuine sense of what it means to belong to a place.
