Two days before the Skaneateles Festival's opening night, the festival offers a free one-hour lecture under the SkanFest U banner: 'American Revolutions.' It's an hour of ideas, music, and context — the kind of thing that makes the concerts that follow land differently. The Skaneateles Festival has been bringing world-class chamber musicians to the lake for over 40 years, and SkanFest U is how they invite anyone in before the ticketed performances begin.
