Terra String Quartet at the Skaneateles Festival — An Evening of Chamber Music at Its Best, Thursday August 20

Thursday evening, the Terra String Quartet closes its week-long residency at the Skaneateles Festival with a full evening concert at First Presbyterian Church. Four musicians from four continents, speaking six languages between them, the Terra Quartet are winners of the 2025 Naumburg Chamber Music Competition and prizewinners at the Bordeaux and Wigmore Hall International Quartet Competitions. Their program runs from Schubert's beloved Rosamunde Quartet to a 2025 world-premiere work by Juri Seo to Britten's formidable Second String Quartet — a century of quartet writing in a single sitting. The church is one of the most beloved Skaneateles venues: easy parking, excellent acoustics, and the village within walking distance after.
